DESIGNING the Children’s Spy Agency App

COMPANY
Bright Little Labs
ROLE
UX
The Children’s Spy Agency (CSA) welcomes kids around the world to become a top secret agent. Through training games and missions the agent will learn important skills and will escalate through the ranks of the agency until they reach the top rank, Elite.
The CSA Spy World app, is the hub which connects all the intel about the kids journey through the agency.

My Role

I joined the company to lead and oversee the kid’s experience throuhghout the different products and make sure they all connected smoothly.

For the development of the mobile app I was excited to be leading the kid’s experience alongside a great team. I worked closely with the CEO, product manger, developers, visual designers, game designers and above all, wonderful kids.

Among my tasks were:
user research, wireframes, lo-fi and hi-fi prototyping, user testing, QA testing, sound design and visual design of some features.

The Children's Spy Agency has a strict no-adult policy (except for staff, of course). However, they are happy to make an exception for you today and show you some of the key features of their new app, lucky you.

Games and missions

A series of  games and timed missions introduces the agent to 21st century concepts and skills which will help them gain experience in the agency.
